Women and Troy
As war-clouds gather over Troy, the city’s women—including Queen Hekabe, her prophetess-daughter Cassandra, and the Greek Helen—face a harrowing yet unexpectedly uplifting journey. This adaptation pressingly explores their stories, making them resonate more than ever.
Dame Siân Phillips takes on the role of Queen Hekabe for the first time, alongside Rachel Donovan in this emotional rollercoaster based on the plays of Euripides. The performance is directed by David Stuttard and includes a Q&A with the performers and the writer.
