A Shakespearean comedy by David Visick, directed by Tim Marriott and performed by Nicholas Collett & Tim Marriott, Waiting for Hamlet tells the backstory to Shakespeare's iconic play. This imaginative prequel depicts the Old King arriving in the afterlife, where he meets his old court jester, Yorick, only to learn he has been poisoned. As King Hamlet seeks vengeance, Yorick must intervene to prevent his old friend from wreaking havoc among those he loves. This uproarious tale explores themes of love, loss, and legacy, all wrapped in clever humor and wit.
With a playful nod to the complexity of Shakespeare’s works, Waiting For Hamlet is a comedic reflection on tragedy and a tribute to the greatest play ever written.

SEATING: Please note row H, the back row, is high bench seating. The auditorium has steps up the centre aisle, so book at the front for anyone who may have difficulty with steps or heights.
