This play targets fans of classic murder mysteries, drawing them into a world where two seemingly unrelated individuals converge in a tense narrative, filled with intrigue and unexpected developments.
The Theatre at the Tabard presents this acclaimed work, which enjoyed a successful seven-year run in the West End. The plot centers around Dee, a successful but edgy television writer, and Hallett, a cynical CID detective, who are each given a reason to visit the flat of the seemingly ordinary Mr. Stone. However, their true purpose remains shrouded in mystery. As the characters unravel Stone’s intentions, the true nature of their connection and the sinister motive behind their meeting gradually comes to light.

Directed by Nick Bromley, this production has been revised by Richard Harris specifically for the Tabard. It marks the fourth of his plays to appear at the venue, following Liza Liza Liza, Dog Ends, and The Last Laugh.
