Siân Phillips: The Greeks

Written and directed by David Stuttard

Back by popular demand following sold-out performances earlier this year.

BAFTA award-winning Dame Siân Phillips returns to the Tabard Theatre in two captivating explorations of the drama, wit and wisdom of Ancient Greece.

In Women & Troy, she is joined by Rachel Donovan (The Crown, Call the Midwife) to tell the stories of the women of Troy. From Queen Hecuba and her daughter Cassandra to Helen, the most beautiful woman in the world, these timeless tales of love, loss, resilience and survival are brought vividly to life.

In It's All Greek, Phillips joins BAFTA nominee Robert Powell (Jesus of Nazareth, Mahler) to celebrate the enduring wisdom of the ancient world. Through stories of love, laughter, betrayal and human folly, the Greeks prove themselves as relevant, insightful and entertaining today as they were thousands of years ago.

Written and directed by David Stuttard, these acclaimed performances bring myth, history and literature to life with rare insight, passion and grace, reminding us why these ancient voices continue to speak so powerfully to modern audiences.

Women & Troy will be performed at 3pm (60 minutes) and It's All Greek at 5pm (95 minutes).
