One Man Poe is a chilling theatrical experience that brings the gothic horror of Edgar Allan Poe to life, performed by Stephen Smith. This solo show presents four of Poe's most haunting stories, showcasing his talent for weaving psychological terror and suspense. Ideal for fans of classic literature and horror alike, the performance is a deep dive into the human psyche through literary greats.

Using Poe’s original text from the 1840s, the show is divided into two acts:

  • Act One: The Tell-Tale Heart and The Pit and the Pendulum
  • Act Two: The Black Cat and The Raven

Note that row H, the back row, features high bench seating. The auditorium has steps up the center aisle, so it’s advised to book seats at the front for anyone who may have difficulty with steps or heights.

Age guidance is set at 12 and above.

The running time is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including an interval.

Latecomers will not be admitted until the interval.
