In Conversation with Lesley Nicol

Join Downton Abbey star Lesley Nicol for a special fundraiser celebrating 40 years of the Tabard Theatre. In this unique event, Lesley will share stories about her illustrious career alongside actor, director, and playwright Gareth Armstrong, promising an afternoon filled with unscripted fun, anecdotes, and banter.

Lesley is perhaps best known for her role as Beryl Patmore in the ITV and PBS drama series Downton Abbey, a role for which she won the SAG Award three times for Best Cast in a Drama Series. She has also starred in the 2019 feature film adaptation of the series, its 2022 sequel, and the soon-to-be-released third film. Her extensive television experience includes the recent Mr Bates vs The Post Office and a long history of West End performances, such as playing 'Rosie' in the original production of the smash hit musical Mamma Mia.

This one-off event will raise funds to support the Tabard Theatre’s ongoing programme of work.
