Presented by Claire Evans, in association with the R C Sherriff Trust
Home at Seven is a gripping mystery drama that unravels the chilling tale of an ordinary man's lost day and the secrets it hides.
2-20 September 2025
Home at Seven is a gripping mystery drama set in the aftermath of the Second World War, exploring themes of innocence, memory, and the unraveling of reality. It follows David Preston, an ordinary man who returns home from work only to discover that he has lost a day of his life, with no memory of the events that transpired during that time. As he grapples with evidence that suggests his involvement in a theft and murder, the tension builds and questions about his innocence arise.
This production marks the first London revival since its West End premiere in 1950, and is presented in association with the R C Sherriff Trust to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the playwright's death. Sherriff is perhaps best known for his World War I play, Journey’s End.
