From Cahoots Theatre Company (A Thing of Beauty, Wodehouse in Wonderland) comes Clive, a funny, moving and darkly insightful one-person play by Olivier and BAFTA Award-winning playwright Michael Wynne.

Thomas lives alone, works from home and likes things exactly as they are. His closest companion is Clive, a towering cactus. But as the pressures of modern life begin to mount, the carefully ordered world he has created starts to unravel, revealing truths he can no longer keep at bay.

Directed by the acclaimed Lucy Bailey and starring Off West End Award winner Paul Keating, Clive is a witty, tender and timely exploration of loneliness, connection and what it means to find your place in an increasingly isolated world.

Following a critically acclaimed premiere at the Arcola Theatre, Clive comes to the Tabard for two special performances ahead of its Edinburgh Fringe transfer.
