Appraisal is a dark comedy exploring an annual work review that goes horribly wrong. Head of Department Nicky wants to focus on her job, but her boss Jo has other ideas and a plan that she is unlikely to embrace. This two-hander delves into themes of manipulation and the explosive consequences that can arise from seemingly innocent conversations.

Having achieved 5-star reviews and sold-out performances at the Edinburgh Festival and Adelaide Fringe, Appraisal also won a Best Theatre Award. The 2023 Edinburgh run garnered multiple awards nominations, including Best Play and Best Director, and claimed victories in Best Actor and Best Actress categories.

Appraisal features sitcom veteran Tim Marriott, known for BBC’s The Brittas Empire, alongside Angela Bull, who has recently appeared in ITV's Coronation Street and DI Ray.

TICKETS: £20/£17 concession

SEATING: Please note row H, the back row, is high bench seating. The auditorium has steps up the center aisle, so book at the front for anyone who may have difficulty with steps or heights.
