Written by Matthew Strachan and Bernie Gaughan, About Bill follows the success of their musical Next Door’s Baby, which was revived at the Tabard in May 2023. Directed by Keith Strachan, this is another opportunity to experience the brilliance of this show, following its debut at the Tabard last August.

About Bill centers around the legendary jazz trumpeter Bill Fitzgerald, showcasing the stories of the various women in his life—from a journalist enamored by his charm to an addict lover who holds him responsible for her troubles. Each character reveals a different facet of Bill, set against a backdrop of diverse musical styles. Aunty Dot, who raised him, provides a stern yet loving perspective on his escapades.

Starring the talented Kim Ismay, who has graced numerous West End productions including Wicked, Mamma Mia, and The Rocky Horror Show, this musical promises to engage and entertain audiences.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Saturday 6th July's performance has moved to 8pm instead of 6pm due to avoiding a clash with England's European match. Apologies for any inconvenience.

TICKETS: £18/£15 concessions.
